North-West (NW) Zone – The Secret of Support, Help & Banking

According to vastu Shastra, North-West is the zone of storage (of resources). As I have mentioned earlier, the vastu scripts are for the masses.

There were different prescriptions for a king as well as other people belonging to different professions and different domains in life. These, in today’s world, correspond to the people associated with media, films, entertainment, politicians, consultants and architects. These prescriptions were broadly divided in to two parts - one meant for administration and the other for common people. 

In the olden times, crops were stored safely to facilitate availability of food throughout the year. So, the granaries were located in this zone, and were kept filled at all times. In the contemporary world, we need to find an analogous and symbolically apt function for it.

Contemporarily, storage refers to that support (system) which facilities smooth running of the life-cycle or of an industry. So, the modern symbol of storage has two significant aspects - one is the buyer and the other, the bank. Industry of any kind needs the buyer and bank-support.

The accrual of buyers or customers is governed through the North-West zone. The bank is also associated with this zone. The bank represents our support system formed in lieu of all our hard work, Efforts and performance in life. The zonal energy here creates, governs and controls that support and banking aspects of our lives. Favourable times and people who give support are governed by this zone.

Though all those people, whom we have earned as relationships like friends, are related to the Western zone, receiving their support in the hour of need relates to the North-West zone. It holds true for our ancestors’ support also, although they, themselves, are related to the South-West zone.

If we perceive this zone in the context of the Annamaya Kosha, then all the things that support the physical body are related to this zone, including our assets like property, cars and anything we acquire that helps us move forward successfully.

Savings, per se, are governed by the South-West - the zone of skill, and West-South-West - The zone of education. However, the assets created from those savings are related to this zone.

In this same way, all investments and their accruing results - whether they will prove

Beneficial or not - are determined by the energy in this zone. So, all kinds of help, from a small pin to our bank balance, are related to this zone.

As mentioned earlier, in the context of Annamaya Kosha, all luxuries and things supportive to physical body are related to this zone. Similarly, all the things which support the Pranmaya Kosha (Energy body), for example, gem stones and crystals, are associated with this zone.

If this zone is somehow related to music then music will support your Pranmaya Kosha. In the same way, all those factors which support your mind (Manomaya Kosha) are governed by this zonal energy. It could be a positive thought which makes you feel strong, or some kind of knowledge or gods and goddesses of your family, and so on.

It must be understood properly that ancestors are related to the South-West zone, the gods and goddesses to the North-East zone and the gods and goddesses of your family, (Kuldevta or Kuldevi) to the North-West zone.

In this way, any element needed for help or support in the cycle of life, is governed by the North-West area.

As said earlier, a zone is created by the powers of the adjacent zone, on each side, taken together. If you are detoxified of all your painful past memories, i.e., you are in the present (time) and also have the ability to attract (which is related to the next zone) it expands your support.

That effectively means that your bank, your friends and many other supportive elements will always be there to support you. Then you feel all right and have a futuristic thinking because your detoxification process is going on perfectly well and you have the ability to attract the good (better situation in life).

If anybody shares his or her problems of not attracting the necessary support, and discusses what he or she wants, first, look at the zone of support. Presence of a toilet in this zone disposes of your chances of getting support in the hour of need.

On the other hand, a drawing room here helps in concluding the meetings in your favour (or support). Similarly, a bedroom, when located here, motivates you to help others and also draws support for you. Even a kitchen made in this zone produces good effects for the residents.

This is how different activities are connected with this zone. Therefore, in our life cycle, by using the field energies accordingly, we can generate positive effects, positive energies and supporting situations.
